Our Story
HydrantIQ is a technology company delivering smart fire hydrant and water solutions designed to solve some of the most critical challenges facing African cities. Founded in 2024 after a wave of devastating fires in Ghana and Nigeria, we deploy IoT-enabled systems that address three major issues: unreliable water pressure in hydrants, difficulty locating functional hydrants during emergencies, and non-revenue water loss caused by leaks and unauthorized usage. Our real-time monitoring tools, GPS tracking, and pressure management solutions empower fire services to act faster and water companies to protect vital resources—creating safer, more resilient communities.

Mission
our mission is to make firefighting and water systems smarter, safer, and more reliable through the power of real-time technology and community-driven innovation. We are committed to solving the core challenges that undermine emergency response and water access in African cities—inconsistent water pressure, delayed hydrant location, and significant water losses from leaks and unauthorized use.
Vision
A safer, smarter Africa where every community—urban or rural—has access to fully functional fire hydrants, reliable water pressure, and real-time tools that enable rapid emergency response and responsible water management. We envision a future where technology protects lives, conserves resources, and empowers local governments and communities to build resilient, sustainable infrastructure.
